You might have noticed I missed STATS of the Week yesterday so you are getting it today and I’ll drop episode 2 of Living History, which I have to tell you was pure 🔥on Sunday.

Anyway, I’m not going to let a little thing like a migraine or the assault of a senator deprive you of some very good information about where public opinion currently stands.
The most recent Quinnipiac poll was TERRIBLE for Trump across the board but above I have highlighted just how far underwater he is on issues he should be dominating like the economy.
BUT THAT”S NOT ALL!
Voters HATE the Big Ugly Bill and have 0 desire to gut Medicaid, Social Security or Medicare.
Voters be like ain’t nobody got time for that!
And Elon?! The reason Trump dumped Elon is because after the Wisconsin Supreme Court Trump figured out the Elon is political kryptonite. It may not be a stretch to call him the most hated man in America.
Trump thinks by sowing chaos on cosplaying martial law voters will reward him, but recent data from the YouGov/Economist poll suggests otherwise.
Even Trump’s own people don’t want to deport otherwise law abiding illegal immigrants and especially find the idea of deporting Dreamers.
That said, if we ever want the general public to see Trump ripping families and businesses apart, WE (Democrats in elections) have to bring it to them in the form of ads.
We see this is video after video on socials, people who voted for Trump only to find out their abuela is deported or that they can’t staff their businesses anymore.
Hypothetical ideas such as fixing healthcare and deporting illegal immigrants often poll much better than the actual politics they produce and these numbers suggest that as more immigration raids occur, public opinion can easily turn against Trump.
That’s why he needs chaos in major cities. And although obviously I find the deployment of the national guard and marines into LA abhorrent I want to point out that Trump really fucked it up. By moving too quickly he killed off his chaos narrative and appeared to overreact. If they were smart they would have let LA go for days.
In fact, yesterday Trump dropped a BOMB on MAGA by issuing this statement:
“Our great farmers and people in the Hotel and Leisure business have been stating that our very aggressive policy on immigration is taking very good, long time workers away from them, with those jobs being almost impossible to replace,” Trump wrote. “That is not good…Changes are coming!”
let me tell you. I was monitoring MAGA is real time, as I am wont to do, and MAGA absolutely lost their shit over this post.
A small silver lining I know, but its one I wanted you to have going into your weekend.
Finally, there is one other important thing to highlight from the Quinnipiac poll.
Just 21% of Democrats approve of the job congressional Democrats are doing.
I want to make the reason CYRTSAL CLEAR
Democrats want the party to meet the moment. They want you to treat the emergency we are in as an emergency.
Until and unless Democrats follow Gavin Newsom’s lead on taking the fight right at Trump, don’t expect the party’s base to come home.
