Then there were the algorithms that amplified all the fear, anger and lies. Those algorithms were "self-learning" - "baby A.I.s". So right out of the crib A.I. made things worse rather than better. Do we think A.I.s will make things better now that they are growing into teenagers?
Dear Rachel. Brilliant essay. We conjecture that Putin has set Trump up like a bowling pin. Sometimes the evidence is so apparent that it can’t be seen. Putin needs to move money out of Russia. Trump needs money, has filed bankruptcy 6 times, and no bank will deal with the Trump family. Trump sells real estate to Russian oligarchs for multiple times the value, the money leaves Russia, and Trump gets healthy. Putin has a desire to rebuild the Russia empire. Eliminate NATO and the dream can be realize. Use cyber falsehoods to help Trump in his presidential run. Where and how it ends? Who knows?
