The silver lining to economic collapse is that it wakes people up to oppose Trump who might have never noticed he was taking their freedoms away until it was too late.

HOW do we deal, both now and the future, with people who WON'T learn what's important BEFORE they vote? I'm a pointy headed info gal...I quite literally DON'T KNOW HOW to communicate with people who aren't into information, don't know what good sources of information even are, and may even resent people who know a lot of stuff?

It's easy to imagine that Republicans, seeing this huge shift away from their side, will find a way to either halt the election or find ways to truly rig a win. I also am skeptical that those regretting their Trump vote, are sorry enough to actually vote for Democrats. Guess I've just become too cynical.

Rachel, how do you explain the sudden growth in civic/news knowledge of American adults? Huge majorities deeply interested in the future of Ukraine?? Studying up on the true impact of tariffs before they begin? Whither our "low-information" neighbors??
