Dear Rachel. Thank you for putting this in perspective. As attendance in religious observation services in the United States has dropped below 40% by some accounts, the 40% belief in the final rapture holds steady in the vicinity of 80%, which far surpasses any other Western republic. The only societies that come close to these percentages are those in which shamans and witch doctors hold significant power and influence. Although Marx wrote religion is the opiate of the masses, I'm more inclined to accept religious orientation is a way to teach the unthinking basic moral principles, like love of one's neighbor, respect for the outsider, and sharing versus hoarding your possessions until the individuals reach a level of maturity in which they can think for themselves. Unfortunately, when a fanatic like Hegseth has power basic morality is not in the formula.
This is absolutely frightening since we literally have a madman at the helm. Without question, Trump and his band of fanatics and lunatics bear primary responsibility for the absolute disaster that is the Iranian war. However, we must also hold all Congressional Republicans responsible in November since they have continued to allow this travesty to unfold by refusing to exercise their constitutional oversight. They could act now to stop this catastrophe and if they don't, we must defeat all of them in the November election, if we survive until then. Their thirst for personal power or fear of retribution has so consumed them, that they are allowing our country and what we thought we stood for to be destroyed. We are living through the Crusades again.

I’ve seen some doubt about the report. The big question being, why would an obscure group get 150 complaints but no other organization hear anything at all? Why was it 100% anonymous, with no specific commanders mentioned at all?
All the rest is very concerning and always has been, but did this event actually happen?
